Division's (Steffi Sembdner, Katja Pudor, Jens Nordmann) experimental configurations investigated the multimedia approach taken by Oskar Schlemmer. They were shown as part of Bauhaus tanzen, a choreographic and scenographic reinterpretation of Schlemmer's work initiated by the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation. Three performers with differing artistic orientations (dance, sound, drawing) worked together on a drawing. Rather than the intersection of hermetically circumscribed, person-specific qualities, they sought a fluid exchange, a give and take. A collaboration between set designers from the TU Berlin and dancers and choreographers from the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau and the Inter-University Centre for Dance.
