"Manipulating the Archive" works with the media of installation and performance. The work is first installed in the exhibition space and can be seen in this state as an installation. The performance that then takes place changes the "material". The archive is expanded, rewritten, the levels are overdrawn, the lower becomes the upper.
The space becomes a palimpsest: the traces remain, are repeatedly "read" and rewritten.. .
