Palimpsest, (selection), 2018 Graphite on paper, each 21 x 29,7 cm These drawings are based on an essay by artist and architect Aristide Antonas entitled "The Construction of Southern Ruins, or Instructions for Dealing with Debt" (2014). Through reading and writing sections of the text over and over again the drawings become compressed, overlapping and illegible. By erasing and rewriting continually the drawings become dense and represent both the thought and artistic processes.
